Join us for another coached road session!

Coached cycling sessions are instructed by qualified coaches and experienced athletes. The sessions are available exclusively for GCC members. Click for more program info.

Series Focus: These sessions are intended to prepare GCC members for road racing & events. The purpose of these sessions is to improve road cycling skill, tactics & fitness.

Target Riders: Road Speed Groups R1, 2 & 3.

Required Equipment: Road bike setup with drop bars, clipless pedals and appropriate tires.

Start Time: please be ready to pedal at 6:00 PM

Start : Calvary Baptist Church, Arkell Rd.

Session Details: 

  • Ride as a group to the start of the sector. 
  • Ride sectors at “effort” 
  • Start effort AFTER turning onto sector. 
  • After completion of the sector, ride easy to the designated “collection point” to regroup before the next sector. 

Sector #1:

Start = Hume Rd. Eastbound (EB),

Finish = Second Line Northbound (NB) at Side Road 30.

Collect at Eden Mills Presbyterian Church at First Line & Barden St. to Regroup

Sector #2

Start = First Line NB

Finish = Wilson St. (Eramosa-Milton Townline) Westbound (WB) at Eden Mills Town Sign (just before Second Line).

CAUTION: There is now a traffic light at Guelph Line & Wilson St. Prepare to STOP.

Collect at Eden Mills Presbyterian Church at First Line & Barden St. to Regroup

Sector #3

Start = First Line SB

Finish = Arkell Rd. WB at Arkell Town Sign

Collect at Arkell United Church at Watson Rd. & Arkell Rd. to Regroup

Sector #4

Start = Arkell Rd. Eastbound (EB)

Finish = Watson Rd. NB at Arkell Town Sign

CAUTION: There is a sharp corner at Arkell Rd. and Townline. REDUCE SPEED.

Collect at Arkell United Church at Watson Rd. & Arkell Rd. to Regroup
