Be aware that within the city of Guelph, the culture and attitude towards cyclists is dismissive. Regardless of the words politicians and staff may use, the results are still conclusive: Guelph is not as receptive or as progressive towards cycling as it should be. We are working on changing that. Until then, consider making your request from the point of view of driving a car. Car is still King among the majority of staff.
eg: The bike lanes are unusable in this area due to the amount of debris on the sides of the road and the cyclists are riding in traffic causing a dangerous situation.
