  • Tuesday A Hammerfest – June 12, 6:30 pm

Kind of like Thursday’s ride but a little longer with some added features. Should get the pulse rate up. For an extended period. But ya, looking like a beautiful night with perhaps a lingering east wind. Don’t miss it. Or do, it’s fine, suit yourself.

  • Sunday June 10th long ride | 9am

Looks like another great Sunday forecast! Let’s head east, with a stop at Belfountain, and then a trip to Thatcher’s Farms (coincidentally a club sponsor) possibly for some sort of grilled food? Should be a good one 🙂

  • Sunday Medium Distance to Limehouse – 9AM

So I took on a Sunday ride and was hoping to head down to Paris but looking at the forecast, it does not look like the wind will cooperate. Seeing that it will be easterly winds, I thought it best to head east first and then turn around with the wind at our back. Most…

  • Saturday June 9th 9am – Gravel Ride

Well, looks like the weather may actually cooperate this time! A nice 80km loop from the library back downtown exploring the gravel roads up to Fergus, the rail trail over to Elora (with a coffee stop, if so desired!), and then the gravel roads and the G2G rail trail back into Guelph. Should be a…

  • Thursday A/B Ride, June 7 – 6:30pm

Its Thursday, lets ride bikes! Its also election day so be prepared for possibly some busier spots on the way to the ride (I believe there is a polling station on Watson, but not at the library at least).

  • Wednesday Social Ride 6:30pm

Looks like the weather is going to be much better for Wednesday’s Social Ride. Please keep in mind that this is a recreational ride with an expected pace of 28 km/h average. It is a no drop ride but, according to our Ride Description page you must be able to ride up to 2 hours,…

  • Tuesday A Hammerfest – June 5, 6:30 pm

Yes, into a mighty headwind rewarded by a scorching return. That likely describes tomorrow’s hammerfest conditions. It’s a quick trip one town west.

  • Tuesday B Ride, June 5th – 6:30pm

The forecast says the weather will be on the cool side so lets do a simple route that will keep us warm. We should be home in plenty of time before dark but lights are always a great idea. Rather then stopping after we crest 6th line where the mosquitoes are on the prowl, if…

  • Sunday Medium I June 3rd 2018 I 9:00am

The route is 75km from the start at the library to the finish in Arkell. The map shows it as being longer due to some duplications between Arkell and the Library at the end. This route will get us back by noon and that is when the rain is supposed to start! If the weather…

  • Sunday June 3rd long ride | 9am

Let’s try something new, sometimes we all need a little change of scenery. Yes there’s some gravel. No you won’t die. The forecast looks pretty mild, and the rain shouldn’t show up until ~2pm. Fuel stop in Wellesley, this might be one worth loading into the bike computer.

  • Thursday A/B Ride, May 31 – 6:30pm

For starters, before I forget, this is the SRCC social at the Wooly (this goes rain or shine ~9pm) . Secondly, the weather may just be good for us by evening so get ready for a burner of a ride. The official call will be made by 5:00pm. We are going to try something usually…

  • Wednesday Social Ride, May 30 6:30pm

Hopefully we will have another great evening for a ride. The weather forecast shows the possibility of thundershowers so a final call will made by 5:00pm. We will ride down Watson, enjoying descending the Watson hills and back up Victoria.

  • Tuesday B May 29th – 6:30pm

Here is a very similar route to the A Ride Hammerfest. If you want to have a go on the Hammerfest, have a go, the B ride will be along the way to pick up your blood, sweat, and tears. You can compare the rides to see where they differ (around the 36 km mark).…

  • Tuesday A Ride, May 29 6:30 pm

It looks challenging to just the right degree. Should be a beautiful, warm evening.

  • Sunday Long Ride | 9:00 am, May 27th

Should be a nice day for the St. George loop with a stop at The Brown Dog Cafe for a refreshment then meander our way southeast and then start heading north toward Valens Conservation area. From there we head back up toward guelph. Bring sunscreen, should be a fun day in the saddle.

  • Sunday Medium l May 27th 2018 9:00am

Nice scenic ride with some brand new paved roads!  We have the option to ride a section of the rail trail.  Stop in Erin for food and drink.
