Sunday August 9th, 8am – Moderate Gravel Ride

6:30am update: Radar is showing a bit of rain toward the start of the ride, but clearing shortly after. Might be a little damp at the start, but it’ll be gorgeous after. RIDE IS ON!
Alright, let’s try this again, shall we?
The gravel rides continue! And who else would you expect to lead a gravel ride than your friendly neighbourhood gravel nut?

Start time: 8am

Start location: Guelph Youth Music Centre (not the library). Plenty of parking for those arriving by car.

We’ll be meeting separately from the ‘Leisurely’ riders. Our meeting place will be the North end of the parking lot (see image below).

We’re going to explore the Walter Bean Trail through KW, heading there via the Kissing Bridge Trailway, and heading home along some gravel roads to the west of the city. We’ll stop for refreshments at about the 51km mark. The official end point will be at Speedvale Rd and Elmira Rd N.

To join the ride, you will need to complete and submit the sign-up form, found HERE. All steps listed in the form MUST be completed.

Final call regarding the weather will be made no later than 7am on Sunday morning.
