It’s been a soggy week but Sunday is looking promising.
This should be a fun one, as we cover familiar ground to the south but in reverse of the usual, and throw in a couple of new sections, including a bit more of the notorious Lafarge Trail. We’ll be hitting up Little Tract, Twin Ponds, Valens, Lafarge, and Fletcher Creek before heading back into town through Preservation Park. Meg has graciously offered to lead a bypass of some the the more rugged sections of the Lafarge trail for G3 or anyone not up for the (leg burning) adventure.
Unfortunately the Valens food truck will not be open this weekend so please bring some extra fuel. We can fill bottles in the park and I will bring some candy and gels to share, so don’t hesitate to ask if needed!
Tail lights are a good idea.
Load the route on your bike computer if you have one, here’s how.
