**RIDE CANCELLED: I was hoping we could power through some drizzle but the weather radar is predicting not a small amount of rain. Now that the weather has derailed two women’s rides, we really hope to reschedule.
The weather for the evening is looking a bit uncertain, check back here for a weather decision no later than 5:30 pm. We got rained out last time but our first women’s ride was a big success! Hoping to see some new faces for round two. We will likely ride together as one group, but may decide to divide into two groups if the turnout is killer.
This is a new ride for the 2022 season that will run on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. It is intended to foster a supportive and safe riding culture where women can help women grow in the sport of cycling. The speed and length of this ride may vary to suit those that show up. When there is a larger turnout, the ride may divide into two speed groups. The GCC is keen for the women’s ride to grow as more participants and ride leaders become available.
Bringing lights is always a good idea.
