GCC Member Kiara Lylyk leading the peloton in her

GCC Member Kiara Lylyk leading the peloton in her first ever weekend of UCI Women's World Tour racing in Belgium. She finished 11th in the 136 km cobblestone Spring Classic at van het Hageland and finished 93rd the day before after suffering a 'mechanical' early in the 138 km World Tour race dropping her out of the peloton at Nieuwsblad. These are incredible back-to-back achievements for Kiara with her Pro Team, Winspace Women Cycling. She has come a long way from the country roads of Wellington County. We are so very proud of you Kiara!

GCC's Sheldon Drewitt took home some serious hardw

GCC's Sheldon Drewitt took home some serious hardware from Provincial championships at the Milton Velodrome this past weekend. He is now the Match Sprint and Keirin Provincial Champion. He also earned silver in Time Trial. Mackenzie Watson, along with dad Russ, were also circling the boards in good form all weekend. Russ took home a silver in Team Pursuit. Heather Lylyk took home a bronze in the Omnium while her daughter, Kiara, was making her World Tour debut on the cobblestones of Belgium. Congratulations to all!
