Sunday Road Tours | October 26 11:00am

Where does the time go? Its nearly the end of October and that amazing stretch of warm weather from Sept to early October is behind us. Sadly, this is the last official road ride for the 2025 season. The weather should be quite nice for a jaunt around the Niagara Escarpment near Milton. This is mostly a rehash of John Lyall’s fantastic ride from mid-September, except I’m switching out the Rattlesnake climb for the Bell School Line climb. We can always switch to Rattlesnake if a mutiny threatens. There are some amazing roads on this route and the fall colours should be in full swing.

We’re starting at 11am, because the temperature will be 0°C in the morning, but will hopefully be warmed up to the 11°C high by the time we start. The current forecast shows it will be sunny with light winds. Come out! It only gets worse from here! In a few months while you’re grinding away on a trainer in a sunless basement, you’ll kick yourself for not taking advantage of the weather while you could.

Bring money for a Starbucks stop in Milton and tail lights are always a good idea.

Load the route on your bike computer if you have one, here’s how.

Ride groups will be:
