Sunday Road Tours CREEMORE | Aug 17th, 9:30 AM

The club is heading to Creemore this weekend for some hill climbing fun!

Weather Update: The radar is showing the rain will be clear by 7:30. In the off chance of a rain delay, the plan is to meet in Creemore and wait at the Bank Cafe, Creemore Bakery or YF Patissier for delicious pastries and coffee? A rainy start never tasted so good!

We are organizing rides to and from Creemore over on our Discord, carpooling channel. If you can drive, and have room for people and extra bikes or if you would like to come, but need a ride you can let us know over on Discord. Carpoolers will meet in Guelph at 7:00 for a 7:30 drive time.

Please sign up for the ride early as it will help immensely with logistics.

The ride will start at 9:30 in Creemore at the Recreation Centre – 218 Collingwood St. There will be only two road ride options this weekend; a longer, faster ride and a medium, less fast ride. Coffee stops are hard to find in this area unless in the main towns, so the long ride stops at Tim Horton’s/Quickie mart on the edge of Collingwood and the short route stops in Singhampton at the Esso.

Once we finish up the ride, we will head over to the Creemore Springs brewery or Old Mill House pub to meet up with the gravel riders for a beer, a spot of food and to talk about the day’s exploits. It should make for a fantastic day, not to be missed!

Bring money for stops during and after the ride and tail lights are a good idea.

Load the route on your bike computer if you have one, here’s how.
