Lets make the most of this beautiful fall weather and enjoy the changing fields and forests on this fun route, that has a little bit of everything. We’ll head towards Conestogo, then hop on the Avon and Heath Valley Trails into Saint Jacobs, where we’ll take the Mill Race trail to 3 Bridges Road and into Elmira for our rest stop at Local Renaissance (@ km 53) . From here, we will hit the G2G for a short jaunt before winding our way towards the fun Sandy Hills trails, 2 private bridges crossings and a fun bomb through Wilson Flats.
Folks who would like to shorten the ride have the option to head back on the G2G after the rest stop (for an approx. 80km ride), head straight up Northfield Drive to Reid Wood Drive after Elmira (approx. 100km) and/or cut out any of the in-and-out trail sections.
All the trail sections are in great shape, not overgrown and a hoot! This should be a fun and beautiful ride, with a few new things we haven’t ridden as a club yet. Don’t miss out!
Bring money for a coffee stop. Tail lights are a good idea.
Load the route on your bike computer if you have one, here’s how.
