Guelph Trailway Update Meeting 2026

Date: Saturday, May 30th, 2026
Time: 10 am
Location: Fixed Gear Brewing Co., 5 Edinburgh Rd. S., Guelph

Please attend and make your voices heard in support of completing the much-needed “Guelph Trailway” portion of the G2G Rail Trail into Guelph.

The Guelph Trailway connection will become the continuous route from the Kissingbridge Trail into Guelph to the covered bridge at York Road Park. This important link will improve safety, accessibility, and connectivity while bringing significant tourism and economic benefits that Guelph is currently missing.

At present, most trail users avoid the on-road Silvercreek Parkway bypass because of serious safety concerns, and some skip Guelph altogether. The proposed 2.7 km off-road multi-use trail will create a safer, more accessible route for people of all ages, abilities, and interests.

Join us in person on Saturday May 30 at 10 am to learn more about the progress of the Guelph Trailway Connection and have your questions answered. We’ll share a presentation outlining the project plan and provide its current status. The Mayor, councilors and city staff will also be on hand to answer your questions and concerns. Light refreshments will be provided.
