Just a couple of late-season road etiquette tips for the general membership:
1. Please do not roll through red lights or stop signs. There is a solid white line in an intersection that all vehicles (including bikes) must stop at or behind. Track-standing partway into an intersection is not something anybody should be doing.
2. If there is a car waiting at a red light or stop sign in front of you, please do not roll up beside it. Waiting just behind the car allows the driver to get going again without having to squeeze back around you.
I know these things seem obvious, but it’s important that we maintain this kind of etiquette when travelling as a group. The more respect we show motorists, the more we will receive back.
