Tour de Guelph
Sunday June 23rd, 2024
Come Ride with other Guelph Cycling Club members or your family and friends in any of the multiple routes and rides.
What does it cost to enter?
$50 is the base entry fee. You are welcome to fund raise beyond that for the benefit of the Guelph General Hospital and the Rotary projects of Guelph. If you’ve entered into any events lately, you’ll quickly realize this is a bargain for what you get!
Guelph Cycling Club has a ‘Registration Team’ for Tour de Guelph called GCC-Guelph Cycling Club.
The TdG registration web page is…. not great, so we’ve got some instructions below for you.
Registration instructions for the event
- Click the button below to go to the Tour de Guelph registration page
- Select the ride length you wish to register for and click continue
- Select Join a Team and click continue
- Enter GCC in the search bar and click Join Team and click continue
- The team shows up like this: GCC – Guelph Cycling Club (Paisley Dental 100km) regardless of what length you decide to ride (did we mention the web site is not great?)
- Choose the first Registration Type that is titled ‘Fundraise-to-Ride‘ which has the fundraising minimum of $50.00 beside it in the price column, this will get you a tax receipt (‘Free Wheeler’ does not). You won’t find the tax receipt information easily.
- Select the number of participants you are registering and click continue
- You will be asked to create an account or ‘log in’ to an existing account
- Add all your payment details etc there
- All of our entry fees and fundraising will be associated with the GCC team and will show our collective dollar amount raised.

More Details
What is Tour de Guelph?
Tour de Guelph is a fund raiser for the Guelph General Hospital and local projects through the Rotary Clubs of Guelph South and Guelph Trillium. More info can be found at Tour de Guelph.
What do you get?
You get a great cycling event, pre, post activities and food. You also get the satisfaction of knowing that your money is being used for really great causes!
What is the cycling like?
These routes use the roads of Wellington County. Police will be assisting at many of the major road crossings. There will be family-friendly 5 and 10 km routes through the Village by the Arboretum as well. You can find all the Tour de Guelph routes here.
How do you follow a route?
There are signs throughout the routes and there are paper and electronic maps as well. GCC helped TdG choose ‘Ride With GPS’ for their route hosting so you can now load routes into a bike computer. This is another awesome opportunity to figure out how to load a route into your fancy bike computer and have it tell you when and where your next turns are. Do it and quit relying on everyone else to know the route! Details on how to do that can be found here.
