Thursday Advanced Road Ride | June 26 6:30PM

As I live in the South End, we launch the Tuesday TAM from the South End and a lot of Sunday rides seem determined to ride the diabolical hills of the Escarpment, I have a natural tendency to ride a lot of routes south of the city (sometimes against my will and/or better judgment.) This is fine and good, though it can get a bit a repetitive, so if i have a chance to ride in some other direction, I usually try and take advantage. It’s not like I haven’t ridden Jones Baseline a bunch as well, but not three times this week or anything. I like the Oustic-Everton-Rockwood rip well enough so let’s give that a whirl and see how it goes.

The weather, having been unbearably hot for a few days, has returned to its default 2025 state of maddeningly unpredictable. I would sacrifice your favourite cycling jersey in tribute to Mother Nature for a run of steady, decent weather and maybe even mine too. Alas, check back for updates around 5:30 p.m. (on the weather, if not the the jersey burning.)

Load the route on your bike computer if you have one, here’s how. (Does anyone not have a bike computer these days? I’d like to know that person and ask what they stare at all ride if not speed, heart data and pathetic power data… like, trees and stuff?)

Disclaimer: Depending on rider turn out, some Speed Groups may have to be combined.
