Women Only Ride | June 12 6:30PM

Hey Y’all! It’s time to ride like the wind! This route is a classic – every road is great. So if you’re a woman, you should probably join. Can I get a hell yeah?

Alssooooo, some of us will be heading to the Wooly after the ride to get those burned carbs back. Please join if you’d like!

Women’s rides run on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. It is intended to foster a supportive and safe riding culture where women can help women grow in the sport of cycling. The speed and length of this ride may vary to suit those that show up. When there is a larger turnout, the ride may divide into two speed groups. The GCC is keen for the women’s ride to grow as more participants and ride leaders become available.

Bringing lights is always a good idea.

Sunday Gravel Ride | May 7, 9:00am

UPDATE: We have a new route due to the forecast. The weather system is moving in from the west and looking daunting, but exact timing is uncertain. We will employ the ‘Red October’ protocol of riding toward it, meeting it head on. This allows us to retreat in the dry when necessary. We might get the whole ride in, maybe only 10K. But we won’t know unless we try.

The planned Cafe stop will now be in Elmira.

Disclaimer: Depending on rider turn out, some Speed Groups may have to be combined.

Intermediate     G2       23-25   kph average
