We all love hills right? Just made a quick edit to the route. We will still take on the Watsonberg and the Col de Watson.

Hammerfest August 2 Tuesday A 6:30 pm
This fast, flat dash to Puslinch Lake and back with a rare descent down the Col will be pushing 80kms and sunset is 8:40 pm. So bring lights for the ride home. Will need to shorten these things soon. A brisk 40 km/h average should get us home on time. No problem.

Wednesday Ride | July 27th 6:30 PM
Ride is on! Looks like another nice evening after a warm day with temperatures dropping later on. The route takes us south and west through Hespler. EC says gentle west wind with a ‘low’ potential for rain at 8:00. A great weather web site to see what’s coming is one for radar over Michigan. Drivers…

Tuesday B | July 26th, 6:30 pm start
Heading south for a tour around Puslinch Lake, and covering some nice stretches of road that we’ve rarely (if ever) ridden… I know, it’s exciting. Note the 2k gravel section between Victoria and Gordon, and be prepared to exercise extra caution as we negotiate the intersection of Maltby and Hanlon Pkwy.

Here’s a fun route, another Bayden special. We did it last summer. Let’s do it again. Note the 1km gravel stretch in the NE corner between 7th and 6th Lines.

July 24th Sunday combined ride | 9am
Since most people are either on vacation, bike racing, or off at hippy-fest, we’ll do a combined ride. The heat is going to be a factor, so we’ll do this 106k loop and keep it sensible, with a halfway stop in Erin. We can get donuts at the bakery, and we really owe The Forks…

July 21st Thursday A/B rides | 6:30PM
Ride is on. If it does rain, it won’t be until at least 8, at which point you might actually like it. Who doesn’t love 4th line? It’s going to be a hot one! There is always water at the church in Arkel if you need it at the end, so don’t go thirsty.
