  • An ascent of 6th Line to sort things out on the hammerfest. Might even have a tailwind out of the south for that needed push.

  • The rides are at 6:30 now for a while, next few months. Here’s a challenging route ending by Guelph Lake.

  • Ride is on although there may be moisture at some point. If you have a rain jacket, stick it in your jersey and cross your fingers. Spring has sprung. We should have a pleasant hammerfest on our hands tomorrow. […]

  • Ride Cancelled. The likelihood of encountering icy, treacherous conditions is too high. Barring an unlikely and miraculous weather transformation considering there is snow in the forecast, tomorrow’s ride will be […]

  • We’ll take another whack at last week’s route and maybe it will happen this time. 6:00pm. We are not handing out membership cards this year, but have a live list with CCN instead.

  • RIDE CANCELLED Welcome back. Here’s the route. We’ve started out the season on this one before and it promises fun and adventure. Something like that. Meeting at the Starwood Library at 6:00 pm. If you’re riding […]

  • An unusual one for the season finale, this route takes us along River Road through downtown Hespeler where there are a couple of traffic lights and a large roundabout to navigate. After that it’s smooth sailing […]

  • Keeping length and available daylight in mind, this should do the trick.

  • Cancelled: T-storm warnings are a deal breaker.
Ride is at 6:00, so don’t be late. This one goes south and up col du Watson before heading over to the 6th Line climb. The route builder on GPS wouldn’t go through […]

  • Note: ride times move back a half hour to 6:00 pm starting next week. Here’s a simple route with kind of a grinder coming back up Milborough. I won’t be there, need some R&R! Have fun!

  • Sorry, I’m just catching this now. I think we aim for about a 32km avg. If the feeling is we can comfortably go faster then we increase it. But that has to be a consensus among all riders. If one feels that 32 is their limit then that’s what we do. And yes, that Brown Dog is still in business.

  • Another northern excursion this time.

  • Here it is. Off to the Brown Dog Cafe we go!

    • Not to hijack this ride, but for anyone looking to put a few more kms in the legs I’m planning to head down to St George with this ride and then veer off (at a B pace) east of Ancaster, head north of Dundas, over to Waterdown via Patterson and Snake Rds and then back home via the usual roads. Close to 160 ams in total. Here’s the probable route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/23905549

  • Another ride through Oustic, this time in a counter-clockwise direction.

  • Here is the ride. Note there is gravel section at the Northeast corner of the route. It ends by Guelph Lake at Conservation and Victoria. Everton Reversed.

  • As requested, Megaloops are back. This route is comprised of two 21 km loops. Unlike G Lake loops, we don’t stop after completing a lap. It’s one continuous ride. Like G Lake, we can divide the group in two and […]

  • Out to Guelph Lake for interval circuit training. We’ll take a moderate warm-up pace out there, gather at the start and after each 8km circuit. We split the group in two with one pursuing the other. Then mix and […]

  • This is the route we didn’t get to last week because the ride was cancelled. Let’s give it another try.

  • RIDE CANCELLED. Hate to do it but it looks like there is a lot of rain heading our way this evening.
A longer ride for a longer day just before the solstice. Then summer begins. 🙂

  • It’s about time for this epic Tuesday nighter. We gather and regroup at the top of Rattlesnake in the park driveway and may pause again over the top of 6th Line. Note the detour via Keystone is still active. Be […]
