RIDE IS ON. Weather Update: According to EC the “Likelihood of precip is Low”. The ‘Eye Witness’ weather report (looking out the window) is better now and the radar indicates things will greatly improve come 6 PM at the start of this ride. Will there be ‘pop ups’? There is no way of knowing for sure. But if there are, they won’t last long.
This is the Late Season Route for the TAM Ride. It is shorter now the sun is setting earlier. It is very similar to the early season route but with a twist – we go up Col du Watson instead of down. It’s the end of the season, you’re stronger than you were back in April. Bringing lights is always a good idea.
Why don’t the TAM Rides run longer into the fall?
Start times would have to get earlier and earlier and lengths would have to get shorter and shorter due to sunset times vs speed group finish times, distance and duration. See a screenshot of the Late Season portion of our TAM Ride Calculator here.
