Sunday Gravel Ride | April 17th 11:00AM

RIDE is ON! Good morning campers, that’s not snow out there, that’s just sugar coating! It’s a bit cool right now and will be at the ride’s start, but it’s sunny and will only be getting warmer (more sugar coating); no more precip and wind is low. Dress appropriately. P2A is next week, practice, practice practice!

In celebration of the rare occurrence that this ride also falls on Easter Sunday (no ‘Christ on a bike’ jokes please – British phrase), Gabhan Chalmers has hidden chocolate Easter eggs across the countryside for us to find as he leads the ride. However, in a strange turn of events, he has not yet returned from his eggy expedition. So, if you happen to see a pink cherub in a bunny suit riding aimlessly, please tell him his wife is growing concerned about him and is also wondering where he is. In further honour, the route will utilize part of the Cotton Tail Trail (that part is actually true!). Anyone wearing bunny ears wins a small water bottle, maybe two (also true!)!

There is a planned stop in Elora at the Lost and Found Cafe, bring cash and a mask for that. Dress for the conditions – check out our new weather forecast page. A tail light is never a bad idea either.
