GCC Family Fun CX Invitational | October 20th 11am, 12pm, 1pm

Back for it’s second year, GCC is putting on a fun day of Cyclocross!

Join us Sunday, October 20th just outside of Guelph to ride or watch your clubmates on a private course winding through forests and fields of ribbon. And… we have invited our friends at WCC to come and join us for some friendly competition!

If you are a WCC member, please register by clicking the WCC logo.

Do we hear you say that you have never ridden cyclocross? Or that you don’t have a CX bike? Or that you’re not really interested in going all out? Maybe your off season is in full swing? No problem, you can ride for fun in the ‘Casual’ event at noon.

Feeling a bit more adventurous? Try the ’Faster’ event at 1 PM! There’s even a Kid’s event at 11:00 AM.

UPDATE: We have just added a a CX Clinic focusing on cornering and better ‘line’ choices on a shortened course. Starts at 11:30 right after the kids race.

If you really don’t want to ride, you and your family are still welcome to come by and check it out!

Free hot chocolate and home baked snacks!

Gravel and mountain bikes are welcome!

Parking is limited. Please carpool if possible. Off site parking is encouraged and available in Arkell on Boreham Drive, the Arkell United Church or slightly further at Calvary United Church in the East corner of the lot. Bring gear in a back pack to ride over from those sites.

Extra bonus for all who ride there!

  • 11:00am Kids Race
  • 11:30am Cyclocross Clinic
  • 12:00pm Casual Race

This is for GCC members and pre registered WCC members only!
