Free winter training sessions start January 14th
The club will offering free indoor training sessions every Tuesday night from January 14 to March 18.
Where: CrossFit Guelph, 340 Edinburgh Road North (NEW Crossfit Guelph location, not the same as last winter) HERE is a more detailed map, the entrance is a bit difficult to find.
Start time: 8:30 p.m. (Feel free to arrive any time after 8:15, as there are other classes going on.)
The sessions will be approximately 60 to 90 minutes in length and riders will need to bring an indoor trainer and a bike. Everyone welcome!
Please be aware that outdoor shoes may not be worn in the gym area.
2014 Club Kit: Pre-Orders Complete
Hello Club members,
The window for pre-ording kit has closed and we're now in the process of getting the order rolling. As of now, pre-ordered items will be available for pickup at Speed River Bicycle around mid-March. We'll keep everyone updated on the ETA here and via email. If you missed the order, do not fear – we'll be bringing in extra stock but it will have to be sold at less of a discount than pre-orders. The overstock will be available at Speed River Bicycle, with purchase likely set up on CCN like the pre-orders (so buy first then pick up at the shop). We'll confirm details once ironed out. If you have any questions, email bayden @ speedrivercyclingclub.org Thanks,

Sunday, October 20 ride | Tour de Fall Colours | 11:00 A.M. START
LET'S RIDE! Might be the odd, super-isolated spot of light rain prior to 12:30, but the radar otherwise looks clear.
Looks to be coolish but sunny for the penultimate club ride of the season. We'll stop at The Trail Eatery in Campbellville for cookies, coffee and whatever else we might need before scaling 6th Line.
Sunday October 13 11:00 am – Forks of the Credit Redux
Since Bayden’s route from last sunday was rained upon I have put it up for a second chance. Lets hope that the rain will hold off and we can ride this great route.
Stolen bike… found!
Mike's bike has been found and returned, what a happy ending 🙂
Sunday Oct. 6th: 11am, Cancelled due to rain
Tour de Hans
Sunday, September 29 ride | NIAGARA | 11:00 A.M. START
BEAUTIFUL DAY IN NIAGARA – RIDE IS ON!
This 105k loop will launch from Queenston Heights Park in Niagara and wind past vineyards, orchards, wineries and parkland. We'll also take in some of the hills and roads of the Fonthill area, where Steve Bauer cut his teeth. I grew up riding these roads and can tell you they're a treat!
Those looking to arrange car pooling should post to the comments section of this entry and watch the thread. Jim Wadleigh is offering to transport four additional riders–see the comments section for details. I'll be staying in Niagara the night prior, so will meet you all at the park. Let's park and meet in the circular drive area if possible–it's convenient to the washrooms, where there's room to change if desired. Anyone running late or needing en route nav assistance can call or text me at 519-400-5401.
Please take note of the 11:00 start, which will now be the case for Sunday rides through to the end of the season.
Hope to see you all there!
James
