September 4th Tuesday B ride | 6pm

Same route as the cancelled route from last week. 50km back to the end at Arkell.   Should give people time to get home before the darkness arrives. If we have a big group we will split up into sub groups. The fast groups will allow people to drop and the second group will pick up the carcasses.

CANCELLED August 28th Tuesday B ride | 6pm

OFFICIAL RIDE CANCELLED. Between the humidex advisory, and the high probability of thunderstorms a bit later on, the official ride is cancelled. People may still show up at the library though.

Note the early start time! Simple route, counter-clockwise around Watson, 15, 6th, and 25. It going to feel like almost 40 degrees with the humidity, so be prepared. Bring lights if you got em.

Tuesday August 21st B Ride. 6:00 pm

I’m going to go ahead and call this one cancelled already. The rain has arrived and doesn’t look like it will be clearing out anytime soon. The folks at the weather network have our odds of riding at 10% tomorrow but what do they know! We can’t let the A ride have all the fun doing loops so we will do some too if we actually ride. The posted route includes only 1 14km loop, but we will try to get 2 or 3 in if daylight allows it. Official call will be made by 5. Some may still show up if the ride is cancelled if you feel like riding in the rain.

Tuesday B Ride – August 7th 2018 – 6:30pm Start

This one will get us back in under 2 hours; ~ 60km. Lots of time to get home before dark. Note the change from Nassagaweya-Esquesing Town Line to 6th line from the last time we ran this route. If we are a large group, I will split us into a 1st group that will allow riders to be dropped and a 2nd group that will be no-drop. The focus will be on group speed which will be a function of short pulls and quick rotations. We will limit pulls to 15 seconds per side, for a total of a maximum 30 second pull. This will bring up the average speed without burning off riders.
