Sorry to say it, but as the sun sets earlier and earlier, some groups will not make it back before dark next week. Don’t be too sad, Sunday rides will be going for another two months!

WEATHER UPDATE: Ride is On!

Christmas has come early… the holes on Mountsberg road have been filled in! Oh, we are so easily pleased. But don’t get too complacent… when you round the corner heading north onto Centre road, that section of road is still potholed. That was clearly not on the order for the repair crew who were just meters away. So close! Cake without icing is still good, right?

Weather Update: It’s currently raining, weather report says rain, radar is swirling, it’s only 14 degrees – the ride is officially cancelled. However, it may improve in the next hour, but we have to make the call now.

But if you wish to ride unofficially between the swirls of the storm system, you are certainly free to do so and probably won’t be alone.

Update: 5:25 P.M. The GCC TAM Ride has been officially cancelled!

Canada’s Air Quality Health Index is currently at 8 out 10 locally. It is recommended that athletic and sporting activities be rescheduled with an AQHI of 7 out of 10.

This sucks, we know. However, there is nothing stopping those of you who wish to continue with an unofficial ride at your own risk after gathering at the usual place and time.

The GCC June Social at Fixed Gear Canteen on the patio, starting at 8:45PM, will proceed no matter how smoky the air gets!
