This ride is for members who are new to the club and group riding, or are returning and would like more instruction.

These instructional sessions are not intended for beginner riders. You should have reasonable riding experience and fitness and can ride for 45 km non-stop at 24 km/h speed or greater. You will be guided by experienced club members on this ride.

When you arrive, ask other cyclists who the ‘Ride Leader’ is and introduce yourself to them. Tell them that you are looking for the R6 group (see map below) to do the ‘Learn to Group Ride’ session.

Once in the group you will receive instruction for the evening followed by a group ride where you will receive more instruction and pointers during the ride. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, we’re here to support you and make sure you have a good, safe experience and become comfortable with group riding.
