A ride north-east around Lake Belwood. Tour (48k) and Grand Tour (86k) stop at Belwood Country Market for water bottle top up and fresh, baked-in-house butter tarts.

Note the 9:00AM start time. Be sure your lights are charged up and working.

If a ride has the required number of riders, but no Group Captain riding with them, that group ride will be considered cancelled. The group can decide among themselves to hold an ‘unofficial’ ride and follow the route. All group riders take it upon themselves to know the route and are responsible for their own safety.

Thursday Advanced Road Ride | August 22, 6:00PM

For R1 & R2’s out-and-back to the SR 22 climb out of Limehouse, slow down and mind the rough surface, starting at 26km, on Third Line and a bit of Glen Lawson Road.

Note the start time is 6:00pm. Be sure to have lights, sunset will be 8:12PM.

Sunday Road Tours | August 4 8:00AM

The Grand Tour will head down towards Ancaster and then up towards Dundas. From there, we’ll go through Waterdown which has a good café https://copperkettlecafe.ca/ and a place to grab some water refills before the climb home, finishing in Arkell.

The Medium Tour will say goodbye around the 40Km mark and head east before picking up First Line back to town.

Don’t forget your tail lights.

Looks like all the wet will be wrung out of the clouds today for a dry ride tomorrow. We’re heading West, Elmira way. Bring money for a coffee stop at Local Renaissance (opens at 10AM). Tail lights are always a good idea.

A small change from our normal route through Rockwood: at the bottom of the Jolliffe Avenue hill go straight across Ridge Road to Dunbar Street and turn right. We can then use the lights to turn left onto hwy. 7.
