Tuesday A Ride | 6:30 pm, May 22

In order to bring you the highest quality hammerfest possible it was necessary to alter the route. We substituted an unsafe and probably unridable, fresh gravel section with a tried and true gravel section. Thanks to Adam and Adam for accompanying me on the recon. Kind of a longish ride but the days are longer too so everything will be fine. We’ll ride quickly. What am I saying it’s the hammerfest! Bring something to drink.

Tuesday A Ride | April 24, 6:00 pm

Ride is on although there may be moisture at some point. If you have a rain jacket, stick it in your jersey and cross your fingers. Spring has sprung. We should have a pleasant hammerfest on our hands tomorrow. Same route we didn’t do last week.

Tuesday A Ride April 17, 6:00 pm

Ride Cancelled. The likelihood of encountering icy, treacherous conditions is too high. Barring an unlikely and miraculous weather transformation considering there is snow in the forecast, tomorrow’s ride will be cancelled. Here’s a route we can recycle next Tuesday if necessary. In the meantime you can ruminate on this and consider Aaron’s idea for tomorrow.

April 3 Tuesday A Ride 6:00 pm

RIDE CANCELLED Welcome back. Here’s the route. We’ve started out the season on this one before and it promises fun and adventure. Something like that. Meeting at the Starwood Library at 6:00 pm. If you’re riding make sure you are a current club member.

Tuesday A Ride | Sept. 5, 6:00 pm

An unusual one for the season finale, this route takes us along River Road through downtown Hespeler where there are a couple of traffic lights and a large roundabout to navigate. After that it’s smooth sailing until we hit a short gravel section across highway 7. We’re soon on familiar roads all the way home. The ride ends officially before Woodlawn Road. Bring both front and rear lights because we may be pushing daylight on this one. It’s been a great season, thanks for coming out!

Tuesday A Hammerfest | Aug 22, 6:00 pm

Cancelled: T-storm warnings are a deal breaker.
Ride is at 6:00, so don’t be late. This one goes south and up col du Watson before heading over to the 6th Line climb. The route builder on GPS wouldn’t go through construction under the bridge at Campbellville so there’s a right turn at Canyon Road. Then there’s the Arkell Rd finish. That is all. That’s enough!
